Snow Is Earth’s Crystal Medicine

With all the weather-related stories blizzarding the media, I was entranced by this perfectly timed insight from a Toltec teacher visiting Maine.  I acknowledge with gratitude the source. The following comes via Joanna Pinney Buell at

“Weather is not an impediment. It is a blessing. The snow is beautiful, sparkling crystal medicine for you and the earth.”

  1. Thank you Bobbye for sharing this teaching with your readers. We can ask that every snowflake and every drop of rain carry the frequency of what is highest and best for that which it falls upon and graces. Blessings for peace, Joanna

Winter is so beautiful and of course the snow is a blessing to the earth, the water it gives, the cold weather killing the bugs, the time it allows many plants and trees to go into a rest period.

I just wish I liked getting out in it more.

  3. Having lived in Montana for a while, I learned to not see it as an impediment. Now that I live elsewhere, I would need to get used to driving in it all over again – an attitude adjustment.

Snow is a blessing in so many ways.
