I've learned to turn my thinking around full circle when it comes to bragging about business-related issues. It didn't happen overnight, though, and the change came with fierce resistance. Those ancient tapes are hard to turn off! However, I've now come to realize that if we don't brag about ourselves, we're doing our prospective customers and clients a huge disservice. In fact, they WANT and EXPECT us to brag. After all, they need to be reassured that we know our stuff. They need to know that they'll be working with someone who's on the ball. Sorry, Mom. I’ve learned to turn my thinking around full circle when it comes to bragging about business-related issues. It didn’t happen overnight, though, and the change came with fierce resistance. Those ancient tapes are hard to turn off!

However, I’ve now come to realize that if we don’t brag about ourselves, we’re doing our prospective customers and clients a huge disservice. In fact, they WANT and EXPECT us to brag.
